Didactic programme: Scenic fencing workshop.
Goals:
-Initiate participants in the handling of traditional fencing weapons, with an exclusively theatrical, sporting and recreational purpose.
-Train participants in the creation and development of combats and stage choreographies.
-Improve the values of respect, coexistence and companionship.
Contents:
Discipline-specific physical preparation (theoretical-practical): "warm-up"
Theoretical approach to the rapier sword, the sinistra dagger, as well as the foil and the saber (conference-colloquium "The art of the sword")
Correct foot positions and guards (basic steps).
Torso and arm guards (slash and lunge in defense and attack)
Single combat and melee.
Safety on stage with weapons.
Temporalization:
This programming is sequential in different didactic units of a maximum of 70 hours and depending on the levels that we intend to reach with the participants.
We understand that it is essential to have a minimum of two two-hour sessions and that in turn an adaptation of the program is necessary according to the number of participants and teacher-monitors.
